7 Months

Time has gone so fast Lillian is now 7 months old!  She is growing so big and learning new things everyday.  It is so thrilling to see her grow up and be her own person.  She does have her own personality!!  She now gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth!  I know that she will soon be crawling!

Rick is back to work full time drilling wells now which is a blessing but it is also an adjustment.  I got used to him being around a lot and now I will be spending my days alone with Lillian.  It is different not having any adults to talk to. But I should be used to that since that has been my life for the last few years.

I often get asked if I have a hobby, if there is anything that love to do. And I always sit there with a blank look.  I never can think of anything that I would call a hobby.  But the other night I had just put Lillian to bed and I was laying on the bed thinking about my life and what I love to do.  I love to take care of children!  From the first memories that I have they involve babies or toddlers.  I have a picture of me carrying my sister Nicole around she was probably 4 or 6 months old I had to have been about 4 years old.  I was looking through a photo album and over half of the pictures I have someone in my arms.  I started babysitting when I was young and I loved it.  Then I did take a break for a while and did some other things but there was nothing that I desired more than to be taking care of little ones.  I was laying there thinking of all of the ones that I have cared for over the years.  Some I don't know where they even live anymore.  Some I know where  they live but have not seem for years.  A few I remember their faces but can't remember their names.  I was helping a friend the other day she was packing and trying to get ready to move so I went over to her house to play with the girls they are 2 1/2 and 8 months I think.  I was sitting on the living room floor playing with the 3 little girls and this overwhelming feeling of satisfaction washed over me! Yes!! I am doing what I love!  I felt so at home.  I don't know if taking care of children is considered a hobby but it is what I love to do!!!!  And now after being a nanny for almost 4 years and for 7 years before that doing daycare God has blessed me with my own little girl and she is such a gift from God!  It is such a privilege to be a mom!

I thought I would share a family picture before I close this today.  :)

  1. Cute pic. I can't get over how much Lillian looks like daddy. They even have the same expression in this pic with their heads tilted just a little. :)

  4. By the Gods what juton did this family crawl out of. The father looks like he's reaching 50 and momma has to be in her late 30's and fucked up teeth. I can't believe you two were able to lay eggs. Please don't breed any more It would be extremely beneficial to humanity
